Anatomy of the Tide--Videos, Update, March 14

This is another Anatomy of the Tide trailer just posted on Facebook by Tim Sullivan

Three island boys, in their final summer of adolescence, look beyond an ocean that has incarcerated them since birth to plot their hopes and dreams. Dark secrets, fearful parents, and wealthy seasonal influences all combine into a recipe of tragedy and triumph. Anatomy of the Tide is exactly that -- a boy's lesson to his friends on how to jump the island's most dangerous cliff by understanding the sea which breathes beneath her rocks and a moon that controls the water.

Did you also see these three videos on YouTube? They were shot in and around Owls Head and Spruce Head. The last one I think was shot at the Long Cove Quarry which I think is in Tenants Harbor. I think I've swum a time or two in this quarry. Have you?

YouTube will not let me upload them here probably because of copyright issues. They are worth looking up on YouTube however. I enjoyed them immensely. Just look up these titles and enjoy:

GONE LOBSTERIN' "Anatomy of the Tide"

"Up in the Air" with Anatomy of the Tide Investor...

"Kyle and Donny" Anatomy of the Tide

It seems like the world is learning what we all know...that midcoast Maine is worth visiting and filming too. It's not the first time we've been used as a background for a movie, like Peyton Place, for example.

Enjoy.
