RAFFLE TO BENEFIT CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING
The Thomaston Public Library will be holding a raffle to
benefit children’s programming in October. Tickets will be available starting
September 14th until noon on October 26th. Prices will be
$2 per ticket or $10 for 6 tickets. Thanks to our local businesses, we will be
raffling many fantastic items such as gift certificates to the strand theater,
a one year subscription to down east magazine, certificates for a four person
round trip on the Mohegan boat line and many more! For a full list of prizes
being raffled, please inquire where you purchase your tickets. Tickets will be
available at: the Thomaston Public Library, Highland Café, Garden Island Laundromat & Tanning, and the Grasshopper Shop. The drawing
will be held at the library during the Harvest Festival contra dance on
Saturday October 27th at 7pm. Winners must present their ticket stub
to collect prizes. Prizes will be drawn in order of value starting with the
highest.
